Mrs. Techa Clarke-Griffiths became the 17th President of the Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA) on May 26, 2023, the first female to hold this position in one hundred and four (104) years.
Prior to assuming her role as President, Mrs. Clarke-Griffiths was the First Vice President to the Jamaica Civil Service Association, a position she held for five (5) years (2019-2023). She is a trained Strategic Planner with twenty-seven (27) years of experience in the public sector. A consummate professional with high ambitions, Mrs. Clarke-Griffiths has certification in Strategic Planning, Public Sector Management and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of East London where she focused on Industrial Relations Practices in the Public Sector. She now serves as a member of the Jamaica Confederation of Trade Union (JCTU) and JCS Housing Company as well as the JCSA Limited since 2019. Mrs. Clarke-Griffiths has been a women’s advocate, representing the JCSA at the Public Service International (PSI) and Caribbean Public Services Association (CPSA) on matters affecting women in the Public Sector. Mrs. Techa Clarke-Griffiths is married to Andre and is the mother of two sons. |
