Trade unions are organizations that represent workers. Our purpose is to protect and improve pay, conditions of employment and campaign for laws and policies which will benefit Public Sector Workers. They exist because an individual worker has very little power to influence decisions that are made about his or her job. Who can become a JCSA Member?
Employees in the Central Civil Service, Executive Agencies and Statutory Bodies from first date/day of employment.
Each member is required to subscribe to monthly dues. It is calculated at half of one percent (½ of 1% ) of Basic Salary.
